...of Americans don't have a will. That means many parents are living with the risk that the court will decide who will care for their kids. Trustie hopes to change that.
“Trustie was designed to demystify the legal process of protecting our children, offering a streamlined, easy way to take the first step.”

My Story
After I had my daughter, the task of 'make a will' continued to fall lower on my to-do list.  I just couldn't find the time or mental capacity to get it done. Conversations with friends revealed a shared dilemma. Planning for our children's future is overwhelming. Limited time, energy, and budget keep us from tackling the estate planning process but delaying means risking that we won’t have a say in our children’s future.

Frustrated by the inaccessibility of this legal process, I embarked on a journey to develop a simplified solution. My aim is to give busy parents (and soon-to-be parents!) an easy approach to planning for the future, starting with what I’ve heard from many parents as the most important piece: designating a guardian for your children. By failing to take this step, we leave ourselves exposed to the unsettling scenario of the court determining who cares for our children in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

Through a step-by-step approach, starting with designating a guardian, I hope to make the legal planning process more accessible to busy parents everywhere.
